Polyethylene

Polyethylene provides a strong barrier to oxygen and moisture, suitable for a wide range of projects. We exclusively utilize high-clarity virgin polyethylene resins. By avoiding recycled content or low-grade additives, we eliminate the risk of cross-contamination and outgassing. Nylon films provide a high oxygen barrier and a solid moisture barrier, while adding increased puncture resistance.Unlike standard films, our medical-grade Nylon is designed to withstand the intense pressure and heat of Steam Autoclave and Dry Heat sterilization. By utilizing high-barrier Nylon, we ensure that your sensitive components remain protected from oxygen ingress and physical abrasions throughout the supply chain.

100% HDPE

For sterilization projects demanding maximum breathability without the risk of linting or fiber migration, Clean Room Packaging & Supplies (CRP & Supplies) offers high-performance 100% HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene - reffered to using the DuPont brand name Tyvek®) solutions. Our HDPE packaging is engineered to facilitate rapid air exchange during Ethylene Oxide (EtO) and Gamma Radiation sterilization. The intricate path of the HDPE fibers creates a tortuous path that allows sterilant gases to pass through freely while maintaining a 99.9% bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE).
